Tzu Shao Charity Concert, Portland

This September, Tzu Shao (or Tzu Chi USA’s youth corps) warmly invite you to support their first-ever fundraiser/charity concert!

Having served a rural Oregon community as it recovered from the Bootleg Fire as early as 2022, the passionate and compassionate high school students that make up Tzu Shao experienced first-hand what it takes to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives after disaster strikes. The youth corps personally engaged with disaster survivors, helped assemble and distribute care packages, delivered large water tanks (to help residents have access to water through the season), and, notably, built sheds for survivors last year to have a safe place to store their belongings.

While many have moved forward from the Bootleg Fire, we know that disaster will strike again. Make a contribution today that enables disaster care items and services that support Tzu Shao and Tzu Chi USA* in making a difference for families in their moments of greatest need.
